Running Asp.net 2.0 and Asp.net 1.1

Hi Guys,
I am pretty much a novice when it comes to deployement of asp.net
websites. I would like to know if it is possible to run asp.net 2.0 and
asp.net 1.1 websites on the same machine? If yes could someone give me a
resource that explains how to acheive that. If not could someone give me a
general explanation why it is so..

Thank you

As far as I can tell, yes. I am. In IIS 6, you can snoop around and look
at the properties of the web application. On of the tabs in the properties
says ".NET" (I think). You can set the app to be 1.x or 2.x. I just did
this for the first time a while ago today and seemed to work fine.

In IIS 6 -- Create a new Application pool for ASP 2.0 web apps, make sure
you 2.0 web application/site points to the ASP 2.0 application pool your
created. Set the ASP version to 2.0 for you web app.

If you don't do this ASP 1.1 and ASP 2.0 web app can not live together on
the same IIS server.
