Virus scanning

Jon
Does anyone know if there is a way to scan an uploaded file before it is
written to disk on the server? Is there a way to scan the uploaded file
stream before it's a written file?

Thanks

The easiest solution that we found was via hardware like:

http://www.cpsecure.com/

We have not bought/installed this yet because we may move our apps to 3rd
party service provider - but the service provider we are considering is also
looking at installing the same hardware.

The only drawback(?) to this solution is that it scans all http traffic and
you can't customize it to scan just files.
