resource not found

Hi everyone:

I got a strange problem happening and I cant figure out the cause. Part
of it, I'm sure is my relative newness to ASP .Net.

I've got a apsx page that has a user control in it. The user control is
3 textboxes and a a submit button. All it does is submit the entered
info to the database. Whenever I click the submit button however I get
the following error:

The resource cannot be found.
Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its
dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is
temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure
that it is spelled correctly.

The page containing the user control is in subdirectory under the root
of the site. The user control is in an includes directory also under
the root. The odd thing is that when I created a simple test page
directly in the root and included the user control it worked fine. I am
assuming it has something to do with the location of the containing
page but I can't figure it out and it is fairly frustrating.

I've googled and searched but have come up with nothing yet. Any help
or shoves in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Dave
