what is aspnet_paths table?

When you install asp.net personalization tables using aspnet_regsql.exe,
there are bunchs of tables are installed to my database. I just wonder, what
does aspnet_paths table and aspnet_webevents_events table are for? I tried
to search them on google. There is not enough information about them. Does
anybody know what these tables are?
