How do rebind datalist when record is updated

Hi
Using Asp.net Framwork 2 VSNet 2005 how can i get a datalist (no editing
invloved) to rebind itself when a record is changed in the database (not from
the same datalist). Or on a timed interval i.e. every 5 mins. The user will
have the page open 24hours so page refreshing is not an option, hopefully
there is a method using Ajax/Atlas

Thanks

ajax is a perfect solution - just pick one of the ajax developement kits, or
wait for atlas (the microsoft one, the comes with the next .net release).
