slow debugging in VS 2003 after installing NET 2.0

Hi,
I have a project (WebService) in VS 2003 and did not have a problems until I
installed .NET 2.0 with Visual Web Developer Express Version 2005.
Now every "Step Over" when debugging the project using VS 2003 takes a
second. Which is a pain.
I blame NET 2.0

Can someone tell me if it's possible to speed that up or do I have to
uninstall NET 2.0
Thanks
George.

VWD Express is a slow pig. (it's free for a reason right now)

nothing can be done to remedy this problem until they release a better version
