howto autoresize dropdownlist when the text of one item is too long?

Hi,

I have a dropdownlist whith a lot of items on it. The label of some of
them are too long and they get splitted. Is there any way to resize the
dropdownlist 'on the fly', just when one of its items is too long.

thanks very much in advance.

Jose
