How to Capture Net work Folder paths

1) We have a requirement. we would need to capture the full server folder
path instead of file paths using the browse control.

For ex: \\XYz-Server\Folder1\Folder2 should be captured when we select
Folder 2 through the browse control. i.e The path must be for a directory and
not for any specific file.

We are currently making use of HTML file upload control in ASP.net pages
through which we are able to browse only to specific files.

2) We would also like to know how to set the default directory path for this
control.

Any suggestions on how this can be implemented would be helpful.
