Delete Properties

Working with propertis is great, but what about the performance? Adding
properties is easy but the storage cannot be efficient, as well. So my
first question is: why I cannot find something like
profile.myprop.delete? Why I cannot delete a single properties that my
user doesn't use anymore? Thanks
