Position Controls

Lee

Hello all,

I'm having a really hard time understanding how I can postion controls
and tables on a page. I've tried using CSS, but it doesn't seem to
work, at least how I *think* it should work.

For instance, I created a Master page and a Table for its layout. I
chose to use the template with a header cell, left cell, main cell and
footer cell.

I made sure that both the table and all of its cells do not have styles
property set so that they would default to use the css assigned to the
page and each css class that I created.

The problem is that none of the cells seems to resize to the
appropriate sizes that I set in each class in the css file.

It seems like the only way to get the positioning that I want is to use
Absolute positioning, but then my page does not resize when the browser
is resized.

I've read several tutorials on css as well as msdn, but the only thing
I can tell for sure, is that I still don't know what I'm doing, LOL.
