Validation on all PostBack situations

relative noob.
looking for the best way to do this ... hopefully i will ask it
correctly.

trying to wire up a confirmation box that kicks off on all my postback
situations (load button, sort datagrid, page change on datagrid).

i've been able to make it work on the buttons, but not on the sort and
page on the datagrid.

any suggestions?

thank you
troy
