Calendar control Beta 2 to RTM - Selected Dates not showing

Just thought I'd save anyone some time if they had this problem,
before I wrote code like this

myCalendar.SelectedDate = myObject.CreatedDate;

After upgrade to full RTM I noticed my calendars were not high-lighting
the dates. After wasting time checking everything under the I noticed
it worked If i did this.

myCalendar.SelectedDate = myObject.CreatedDate.Date;

Maybe it was bad coding on my part, but I remember doing it the old way
for years without problems.
