Hi Michael,
For installing ASP.NET 2.0 on your XP machine, it is just the same as we
should done on other boxes. First , make sure you've IIS server installed
on the XP box. Then, if you only need to run asp.net 2.0 web application on
the machine, just install .net framework 2.0 (and register the asp.net 2.0
in IIS correctly) is enough. If the box is your development machine, you
should install VS.NET 2005 or Visual WebDeveloper Express (which require
the .net framework 2.0 installed first).
