File Access Problem

I have a VB .Net 2003 web application and am using IIS 5.1 to check it out.
The program accesses a data file in the c:\inetpub\wwwroot\_private folder
but I get an access denied message. The error message goes on to say:

To grant ASP.NET access to a file, right-click the file in Explorer, choose
"Properties" and select the Security tab. Click "Add" to add the appropriate
user or group. Highlight the ASP.NET account, and check the boxes for the
desired access.

but when I right-c;lck the file the security tab is not shown ... only
General and Summary are shown. Can someone help me?
Thanks

Hello fripper,
I guess you using Windows XP,
To see Security tab you need to unselect "Use simple file sharing(Recomended)"
in Tools->Folder Options->View Tab (last on at the bottom)
Also I dont think its not recomended to use _private folder

Hope it helps,
Oleg
