Will per device licenses break my ASP.NET applications?

Hi, I have to decide between a per device and a per license issue. We
have several web services that have functions that use things like
LOGON_USER. If I have a per device license, does that mean things like
LOGON_USER go away? Or that I cannot use Windows Integrated
Authentication for UNC file server stuff, web pages, etc.? Thank you.

This depends exclusively on what it is you are licensing on a per user
or per device or even per processor basis.

My understanding is that Windows itself doesn't need extra user
licenses for web users but SQL server should be licensed on a per
processor basis if used on a web site.

Internal systems should be licensed per device if you have hot-desking
and more people than PCs but per user if you have users with multiple
PCs.

Windows 2003 Server is what I was speaking of.
