Are there bugs or something in the Webclient class?

Downloading this URL on my machine typically take a second or two when
using a web browser (e.g., Firefox):

http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/da...-98-000001.txt

Downloading the same URL with the following code takes a minute or more
on the same machine:

public void downloadFile()
{
string url =
"http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1001540/0000201196-98-000001.txt";

string filename = @"testfile1.txt";
WebClient Client = new WebClient ();
Client.DownloadFile(url, filename);
return filename;
}

I'm absolutely confused why it just ain't workin' ...

Any thoughts?
