need asp.net visual web developer tutorial that works.

I can't get past a
HTTP Error 403 - Forbidden - error in the tutorial at:
http://beta.asp.net/guidedtour/ It is the Authors tutorial.

I start from the beginning and follow step by step. There is no
indication that there is any special config required for
authentication. Is this tutorial flakey or am I missing something
basic?

Also when I run it I get a login dialog (unmentioned in the tutorial).
I set up a user with Administrator and Friends roles then I get the
Forbidden error with no indication that I can see for what or why
whatever it is is forbidden.
Any advice?

Thanks,
Paul
