Website Deployment Issue

I've got an asp.net 2.0 (beta 2) website I've developed, works great on my
dev machine, when I place it on the destination webserver it tries to access
an MDF database instead of the SQL Server database I've configured it to
access. Any ideas why this is happening, or what I need to modify?

It is from a start kit that I downloaded from MS, it had an MDF under the
app_data but I removed it.

So, what was it ?

Share the solution, please, so others can fix the problem in the future.
