Hello, is it possible to use MS Visual Web Developer 2005 Express to create
sites/pages to work with a host using aspnet v1.x ?

You can but it's not supported I think.
Also keep in mind that you don't use 2.0 methods. So if you know the 1.x
FCL by heart, you can use the 2005 editor.
