Can't deploy Crystal Reports on development server

Hi,

I have developed an ASP .NET application which using Crystal Reports for my
reporting needs. My local development is Windows XP Pro with IIS and Visual
Studio .NET 2003. The ASP .NET site and the reports I have written work great
on my local IIS environment, the problem comes in when I try to deploy my
application to my ASP .NET server.

I have signed up for an ASP .NET business account with 1and1.com. The ASP
..NET works great on the site and I can do everything I need to, except run
the reports. When I try to view/run any report I get the following error:

Parser Error Message: File or assembly name CrystalDecisions.Web, or one of
its dependencies, was not found.

Can anyone help me out with this? I really need to get the reporting working
so I can go live with this site. I have tried including the Crystal DLLs in
my /bin directory, but then I get a failed policy error.

Thanks in advance, help is much appreciated.

Elton,

Thanks for the link and for your help. I read that PDF document, but the
problem is that I do not have access to run a merge module installer on the
remote web server. The remote server I have is a shared hosting solution, so
my access is basically limited to FTP'ing my files up.

Is there any way I can get Crystal Reports to work with the limted access I
have? If not, is there an alternative reporting solution for ASP .NET that
will work?

Thanks for your help, I am a very experienced programmer, however this is my
first venture into ASP .NET reporting so the help is much apprecaited!!!

You might ask hosting company to install your merge module installer.
