Microsoft FingerPrint Reader

Hi ,

We want to deploy a Microsoft Fingerprint solution in order to authenticate
our ASP.NET applications. I want to know if exists a SDK to Microsoft
FingerPrint Reader or if We have to use the Fingerprinter manager supplies
by Microsoft.

Other question, can FingerPrint used to autentication on the Active
Directory in the XP WinLogon?, I had read that this practice isn't good but
I don't know the reason, FingerPrint reader doesn't good way to secure the
system?, FingerPrint doesn't reliable?

Regards,

Javier

This company owns the technology behind the reader:
http://www.digitalpersona.com/developers/

I think you have to get the SDK from them.

The DP SDK doesn't work with MS FP Reader. But the guys at www.griaule.com
has a free SDK that supports the reader. Just download it.
