Post to another server

DJ
Hi,

I've got following problem - after clicking button on my page I have to
redirect user to another website using the post method. While
redirecting I have to send some values to that website (post a form to
that website).

Best Regards,
Dariusz J.

You can always create a new System.Net.WebClient
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...classtopic.asp

but that won't actually redirect the user, rather it will be like you are
navigating there internally. This is likely what you want if you don't want
the users to know you are posting to another web site.

If you need the users to interact with the other website, or if you simply
want to transfer them, you can achieve this in JavaScript by simply
submitting a form with a bunch of hidden fields who's name match the other
server's forms fields...

You can either redirect a POST request as is (HTTP status code 307) or
send a new POST request, but you cannot redirect using a new request or
new form data.
