debugger Hangs

I have been using MS Visual Studio .NET 2003 for over a year on the ASP.NET
project (with no past problems) that I have problems with, so this could be a
machine problem; but I did just run a windows update before my problem
started.

The problem is that when I finishing debugging my ASP.NET application (I
quit debugging by closing the brower or even coming into the IDE and press
the stop debug button) the IDE is still in the debug state (which means all
documents are read only). My only options is to close the MS Visual Studio
..NET 2003 and reopen it in order to continue to work.

I looked at the Event Views Application Log and I get the following two
messages that seem to apply:

Faulting application devenv.exe, version 7.10.3077.0, faulting module
adsiis.dll, version 5.0.2195.6982, fault address 0x00026c00.

Faulting application devenv.exe, version 7.10.3077.0, faulting module
msvbprj.dll, version 7.10.3077.0, fault address 0x00125e95.

Today I did run the repair for Visual Studio .Net 2003, but that did not
clear up the problem.

I would be grateful for any help.

Robert
