Frustrating error

Hi,

I have a very strange and frustrating error. I developed an application,
tested it and it works fine. Then i deploy it to another machine ( no
installation, direct file transfer ) but it doesn't work. I have errors like
parsing the querystring differently etc.Even on firefox there are mismatches
in logic. I have been trying for long to fix it, but unsuccessfully. Its
very frustrating because i can see it work on my machine.

Thanks

With the greatest of respect, there really is no point in saying that you're
getting an error unless you actually tell us what the error is!!! Just
saying that the error looks like parsing the querystring differently is
almost no use at all...

What is the error number?
What is the error text / description?
What do you have to do to make the error occur?
Does it occur consistently?

There is likely a problem in the way how you deploy the app. What files do
you transfer?

This may sound simple but I had a similar problem. With my head in the logic
I overlooked the simple error that when I transferred the files some of the
file locations and query string were changed to file// etc... Check that if
anything is hardcoded or if your code is looking for directories and the like
