Problem
To use ASP.NET to generate dynamic pages which are SE friendly
Current
XML -> HTML (static pages), 30,000 pages - generating pages after
changes is now becoming a problem as it takes a long time
Proposal
XML --> Dyanmic HTML, all code is the same as Current, except output
from the XML is calculated at run time. This means I dont have to
generate thousands of pages, and also I can add in interactive
information based on visitor profiles - eg searches.
Request
Any details on Dynamic Pages and SE using ASP.NET. I have read in
countless places that server side software will "fake" a static page to
the bots, and hence indexing is not affected. I have seen examples for
Apache and ASP but not for ASP.NET
