Session cookies

dee
Hi
My website requires Session cookies and cookies are disabled for my browser
(IE 6.0). When I include my site in "Trusted sites" of IE, the site works
fine even though the "Trusted sites" has no settings related to cookies.
What is happening?
Thanks for your help.

hi dee, my guess is that a session cookie (vs a persistent cookie) isn't
considered a threat.

Cheers,
Tom Pester

Hi Dee,

My guess would be that trusted sites are allowed to store First Party,
Third Party and Session cookies (in memory cookies).

The advanced privacy settings (cookie settings) in IE are only applied
to the Internet Zone.
