Umm, what's that?

I installed the .NET Framework Beta 2.0 and I get an error in both Visual
basic 2005 and Visual C++ setup saying that it is not installed. What is
going wrong?

What do you mean by "Visual Basic and Visual C++ setup"?

Well, I downloaded The Visual Basic 2005 and the Visual C++ 2005 and when I
try to install them, they both say that I need the .NET Framework Beta 2.0.

I already installed .NET Framework 2 Beta 2. What's that all about?

That I can't answer. There are several different builds of it out there.
They may be looking for a specific build.
