Installing & Using FCKEditor

The FCKeditor looks like a really terrific user control - but...

The documentation is really lacking and I've been trying to install/use
this control for way too (it better be worth the effort).

Does anyone have a definitive step-by-step installation/use guide for
using the FCKEditor with asp.net (preferably in vb.net - but C# is OK)

I've seen so many posts where developers have had to spend days to
figure this out - perhaps the FCK developers could spend a couple of
moments and create some readable, easy-to-use/understand documentation.
It may be a great tool but if it takes too long to
incorporate/understand then....

The docs of that make the fck one look extensive!! I gave up struggling
with that control due to the lack of docs and the lack of support. The
only way to get any real support is to pay for it.

I would stick with fck. It looked far better to me.

Well I'd like to try FCK but I can't get the control installed!!!

I did try FTB. It was easy to install and supplied a good amount of
functionality. I'd really like to use it with Smartpart as a web part
for our Sharepoint Portal. Anyone have any experience with using
FTB/FCK with Smartpart??
