Security Issue

Hello, I am trying to figure out why when I physically use Remote Desktop
connections and sign on to my server and run a console application, it runs
just fine. But if I scedule that console application to run using my ID and
password, the job fails when it attempts to write the output file which is
located on another server. I am referencing the file using the following
convention....

\\Fred\customer_adjustment\weekly_detail\

Followed by the file name.

Why does it work for me when I am physically logged on, but not when I
schedule the job using my log on ID and password?

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated!!!

This doesn't seem to be ASP.NET related, another group might have a
better answer.

But my guess would be you haven't included the domain name in the login
you provided in the Run As box, and then make sure under Security that
your login or at least Everyone has privileges to run it.

What does this have to do with ASP.NET?
