"Could not load" parse error

[.Net Sports]

I'm trying to build a datagrid project in vs.net, and getting an error
that doesnt make sense:
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Could not load type 'SportsMProject.btresults2a'.

my page directives are all correct, namespaces are correct, and looking
in my vs.net Task List/Build Error screen, I get :
C:\SportsMSolution\SportsMProject\btresults2a.aspx .cs(92): A local
variable named 'objConn' cannot be declared in this scope because it
would give a different meaning to 'objConn', which is already used in a
'parent or current' scope to denote something else

....but I'm declaring my connection variable just like everything else
