Problem - Direction Required

Problem:

I have a custom class called Job and a custom collection called
JobsCollection.

I currently display the collection on a web page via a datagrid, and I have
a dropdown list that allows the user to select several diferent views. This
works fine.
My plan is to next allow the user to define views of thier own. I have found
several articles on creating a dynamic datagrid and this is the approach I
will take.
To display the layout of the columns as per the users selection (I will have
to have some sort of interface where the user can create the structure of
their views,
i.e list of columns and there order)

The (Job)JobCollection is populated from a table within a database (i.e
Job).

The database also contains another table JobCustom which can vary in
structure from client to client.
Because this table is dynamic i feel that the best approach would be to use
a Dataset(Datatable) to hold its contents.

What I want to know is what is my best approach for Joining the Job
Collection to the Datatable so that i have one set
or records to bind to the datagrid.

I hope I am not to vague in explaining my problem.

All suggestions welcome.
Paul
