server.transfer problem

Can anyone help me with this?

I have 3 webforms, let's say page1 and page2, page3. From page1, after
postback, i use Server.Transfer(page2, true) to jump to page2; then
after postback in page2, i use Response.Redirect(page3, false) to
page3. The problem is it won't redirect to page3 after first postback.
After click the button in page2 again, it redirect to page3.

And I need to use Server.Transfer in page1 to display some value from
page1 in page2.

Please help!

thanks,
Elaine
