Web page timeout

Hi,

What could cause the following? :

I have a data input page with a save button. If I enter the data
quickly and click save, it saves as desired. If I take a little while
(perhaps a minute or so), and click save, it does not respone, and in
fact there is not even a postback. I guess it must be a timeout value,
but it happens on some pcs and not others. Notably, it happens on
laptops mostly.

Any help appreciated.

Gary
