Get Page Class Name from the URL/Application

Hi

Is there any method to extract the Code-behind class name given the URL
of the request? Or from the Application object ?

When you do a Server.Transfer to another page, you can get the class
name by the Page.Context object. Is there something like this in the
Application object so that I can get the class name of the current
page?

Actually, I want to read some property (written in individual page
class) from the web.config file.

Please help.

You could always do: Me.GetType().Name

Thanks Marina.
But I want the class name not from inside the page itself, but in the
global.asax file, may be by the Page URL or from the application
object.

Sorry, in my original post, I've wrongly written
"Actually, I want to read some property (written in individual page
class) from the web.config file."
instead of
"Actually, I want to read some property (written in individual page
class) from the global.asax file."
