web form state accross sessions

Is there an easy way to store the values of a web form in to a database so
that every time a users comes to the site those settings populate the form
by default? Also the form contains many drop down boxes which makes it more
complicated. Before I wrote custom code I wanted to make sure there wasn't
something already out there that did this.

Thanks for any help/suggestions.
