Beta 2 releases

Hello, I'm new here.

I just wanted to ask if there age multiple builds of VS 2005 Beta 2 being
released or if the download available is the same as when it was first
released (i.e. have some of the bugs been fixed). If it is still the same
build, when is the next release scheduled?

Thank you.

It's still the same build. If it is revved up then usually it is no longer
considered beta 2 since the build numbers will be different. In those cases
they may call it a refresh, or more typically a CTP Community Technology
Preview. Right now, pretty much it's anybody's guess on when/if there will
be another CTP before a Release Candidate or Release To Manufacturing
Version. Give it a while since beta 2 has only been out a couple weeks at
best.

Hope this helps,
