ASP Application

[Pure Heart]

Hi

every time i want to develop a asp web application on my xp computer i have
the error "http/1.1 500 server erro" .. I have IIS instaled and running and
asp.net 1.1 service are running also so whats the problem .. thanx

Was IIS installed after the .NET Framework? Perhaps you should run "aspnet_regiis
/i" to fix the setup.

i used aspnet_regiis /i but it didnt fix it

Then I'd look in the event log for more information.

Please turn off "display friendly errors" in your browser,
and try to get a specific error message.

First, close all browser windows except one.

Then,
a. In Internet Explorer 5.x and 6.x, on the Tools menu, click Internet
Options.

b. On the Advanced tab, under the Browsing section,
click to clear the Show friendly HTTP error messages check box,
and then click OK.

c. Close your browser.

Restart the browser and navigate to the problem page.
Post the new error here.

Thanx alot for ur replay but that error i get it when i want to start a web
application in visual studio.net 2003.net not in the internet explorer
