Programmatically change iis rights

Hi,

Is it possible to programmatically change iis rights on a
file or a directory (allow write access on xml files,
deny download for databases,...).

Thanks for your help

You can manipulate much of IIS with WMI.

Heres a couple of links to get you started.

http://blogs.msdn.com/ramesh_r/archi.../24/95109.aspx

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...ab7b728077.asp

Worth bearing in mind that in the asp.net world, much of what your talking
about can be configured in web.config files, so its ofetn a case of
manipulting those.
