Capture XML post and parse XML on pageload

For integration with a credit card processing gateway i
need to be able to capture a small XML formatted string
passed back to my page from the processing company.

It is sent back to the same page which posted the form
variables to their servers and the XMl contains the data
telling me if the transactions was successful or not.

I tried reading the Request.InputStream in the PageLoad
event but it never gets to this part of my code, instead my
browser just "gets" the XMl and writes directly the XML
element values to my browser and none of my page content is
displayed.

So, how to grab that XML stream so I can parse it?

PS. i can find many code examples on how to parse the XML,
it's just getting it that it holding me back.

Thanks,

Neil
