Text messaging on phones

First of all - is it possible with ASP.Net, to send text messages to a
certain phone?

And, if it's possible, is there a site that goes through a tutorial (or
whatever) concerning how to sent a text message to a phone, using ASP.Net

Yes.

You'll need access to a SMS gateway. Unfortunately most gateways cost money
(i.e. Click-a-Tel).

Or, you can try sending an e-mail directly to the phone. Some providers
offer e-mail to text gateways. But often these gateways aren't free or have
some sort of catch for the receiving party (the receiving party may have to
respond with a command to retrieve the text).
