Hi,
Is it possible to perform a server-side operation, and return the
results of that operation to the client via Javascript without a
postback to the server?
Forgive me if I sound stupid but I'm a newbie.
Thanks,
Roshawn 3 1290
Roshawn:
A lot of people ask, and it is possible via XmlHttp which is supported by
most browsers. A good place to start is: http://www.quirksmode.org/blog/archi...p_linkdum.html

ASP.NET 2.0 will have much improved support for this kind of thing.
The technology is called Script Callbacks.
