Report formatting w/o Crystal??

I like Crystal, but only to a certain point. Is there a way/component to
format a dataset/grid with page headers footers ?? Basically, we have some
reports that we need to send out to our clients, which need to be
professionally formatted, etc...

Any thoughts?

Have a look at SQL Reporting Services from Microsoft. It's not limited
to using SQL as a data source either.
