Looking for Advice

I have some aspx pages that interact with a SQL Database. The database
includes a "Names" table which has an entry for each individual who is part
of our group. I want to build a web page that will create an entry for a
"Meetings" table in which I need to include about 6 "contacts" (pointers to
an entry in the Names table). I need sort of a subroutine where for each of
the contact entries so the user can input the first few letters of a last
name and then see a list of matching Names entries and select one to use as
that contact.

I can make this work with some brute force pages but I am looking for a
better way to do this.
