panels and page control...

Hi folks,

Just wondering if anyone has any idea if/when W3C likelly to include
functionality for page control (panels, tab controls etc) or whether there
are any tools that allow the reproduction of this functionality that is 100%
XHTML compliant. I am in the process of asking W3C as well (before anyone
says what's obvious!).

We've written a couple of ASP.NET apps that use both Panels and internet
explorers tab control. Originally we were just PC or Mac based and could use
IE, but now some Linux people have appeared (and you know what they're
like!) and they can't use these apps.

Thanks in advance....P

this support would be in the w3c's XForms project, though i doubt that a tab
control would appear anytime soon, it just too easy to do with html.

1) panels are currently supported by any w3c browser, its just a <div>
