How to identify the memory leakage...

I have developed ASP.Net application using .Net 1.1.

I am making connections to legacy system (through proprietary odbc
connection). Sometimes the user will not wait for longtime to process the
data and simply close the browser and start a new session. When this happens
with more number of users, the subsequent sessions are becoming too slow.

1.. Will it degrade the performance of the ISS?
2.. Is there any way to measure effect of this on performance?
3.. Any suggestions on this?
Thanks,

Hilton
