Where is my folder?

I have created a folder (called root) in my ftp/web space on a hosted
account. The host's website lets you set permissions for this.

If I want to access it from ASP.NET, eg to open a stream, what is its path?

Is this to do with virtual folders, and if so can I set one up myself or
will I need my (rather unresponsive) host to do it?

Hi,

As I said, it is a hosted account (shared host, $10 a month :)

Where does this typically get installed?

And if I knew the location, how would I use it to access my files?

But Anon where is your host acct?(I think you might have to email them
or read through there FAQs)
You normally have to put ur ASP.NET files under the INETPUB/WWWROOT
folder!(But thats default since its a hosting site it might be
different).
If u can forward me the URL of your hsoting site i could help.
