Scan word doc on upload

We want to allow users to upload a Word document on our site. Is it
possible to leverage Norton Antivirus in some way to scan the file AS it's
being uploaded?

Thanks in advance.

I've found two options:

1)
http://enterprisesecurity.symantec.c...ctID=173&EID=0

2) We apparently already have some edition of Norton installed on our web
server that checks files on create and modify - no scan necessary. This
option does not give our application feedback on the fact that a file
contained a virus, but accomplishes our primary objective of protecting the
server.
