Creating a new event log

On a Windows 2003 server how do you create a new event log that can be
written to from an Asp.Net page?

As long as your ASP.Net account has permission to do so:

if (!EventLog.SourceExists(EventLogSource))
EventLog.CreateEventSource(EventLogSource, EventLogName);
EventLog Log = new EventLog();
Log.Source = EventLogSource;
