Could not find a part of the path when access a remote server via mapped drive or unc

AL
Hi,

I have an asp.net application and use Directory class to create
directory on a remote server. I tried both unc \\serverip\share$ or
w:\ (that maps to \\serverip\share$), although i tried to grant the
shares to everyone, but i always get the error: "Could not find a part
of the path.."

Does anyone run into the same problem and have any suggestion?
Thanks,
AL.
