saving cyrillic text from ASP.NET page to SQL ServerDB

hi there,

i have a function that adds record to a database, some fields are to save
macedonian/russian text, and the executeQuery works fine, but when i view
the database, it has ???????? values where the text is meant to be.

i thought that if the field was NVARCHAR this should be able to handle it.

any ideas?

Paul.
